Associated societies, due to their scientific representativeness, will be called by SBPC in situations of operational consultation and dialogue with the scientific community, such as representation in awards commissions, appointments for the CNPq Board of Directors , organization of the Annual SBPC Meetings, working with governments in scientific-political issues, etc.

The association of a scientific society to SBPC does not establish any institutional dependence link for any of the parties, or for the members. However, regarding operations, it opens the possibility of:

Having a constant dialogue through a permanent forum between SBPC and the associated societies, which will certainly qualify and guide the position of our representatives in different committees.

Organizing joint scientific meetings and symposiums, which may generate content to be published in SBPC’s Ciência e Cultura magazine.

Organizing a virtual network with all of the members of associated societies and SBPC, which will allow for obtaining a quick manifestation of the scientific collective and disseminating such positions as well as other relevant information.

Communication via the online version of Jornal da Ciência, the JC e-mail, produced daily.

Permanent forum for wide dissemination of news from associated societies and for discussing themes of common interest at the SBPC website (www.sbpcnet.org.br).
